Andrew Pern's riverside restaurant in the old Lendal engine house, with a terrace over the Ouse and a published dog policy rather than a vague promise. Dogs on leads may join you in the Bar and the River Room, where water is provided, but not in the carpeted Garden Room or private dining room. Book ahead and say you are bringing a dog.
