Situated next to a quiet dog friendly shingle beach which becomes sandy at low tide it is ideal for sailing swimming or a spot of fishing. A walk along the beach will take you to the local shops pubs and restaurants or just a short drive from the property is the village of Pevensey with its striking castle now an English Heritage site. Further along the coast are the towns of Bexhill-on-Sea and Eastbourne with the Sovereign Harbour Marina a great place for a spot of lunch whilst admiring the wide variety of boats moored up. The Towner also in Eastbourne is a stylish contemporary art gallery which is not to be missed along with The Observatory Science Centre and the impressive Herstmonceux Castle situated in the same grounds just a short drive away. Step through into the welcoming entrance hall where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes; head through to the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you will find a bright and contemporary kitchen that is well-equipped with electric oven and hob fridge with ice compartment microwave washing machine and dishwasher. Enjoy your meals around the dining table with seating for four then retire to the inviting lounge area with comfortable sofas and TV/DVD to watch your favourite movie or just spend some time enjoying the spectacular sea views. The apartment offers two bedrooms a spacious king-size and a twin (please note that the twin beds are narrow and are 2 6 wide). Completing the accommodation is the shower room with WC. A door from the lounge leads out to a decked area with table and chairs where guests can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. There is a lawn area with a gate opening directly onto the beach. To the front of the property is off-road parking for one car. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin(please note that the twin beds are narrow and are 2'6" wide). 1 shower room. Electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, dishwasher, and microwave. Private off road parking for 1 car. Directly on the beach with shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance. Travel cot and highchair available upon request. TV/DVD in lounge. The beach is dog friendly .
