A spacious open-plan bar at 54 Hall Gate with entrances on Hallgate and Wood Street, quiet in the daytime and a weekend nightlife room after dark, now leaning heavily on food. There is a stair lift and an accessible toilet, and an outside area on the Wood Street side which is the easier spot with a dog once the music starts on Friday and Saturday evenings. Doncaster station is about 550 metres away and Elmfield Park is the nearest green space of any size. CAMRA's WhatPub survey of July 2025 records it as dog friendly with no area excluded, rather than the bar publishing a policy of its own.
