Lyme Regis is a charming coastal town located in the heart of the Jurassic Coast a UNESCO World Heritage site. The town is renowned for its picturesque seafront and stunning scenery with a range of activities to suit all ages and interests. Visitors can explore the winding streets lined with traditional shops and cafes sample fresh seafood from the local fishermen or take a stroll along the famous Cobb Harbour which features in many literary works including Jane Austen s Persuasion. The surrounding area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with scenic coastal walks fossil hunting opportunities and nearby attractions such as the historic town of Bridport and the stunning beach at West Bay. From the street a private entrance door opens into this characterful terraced cottage. You will step into the inviting open plan lounge/diner where you can take a seat beside the wood burner and TV or enjoy a leisurely family meal at the dining table. Just beyond this space is the kitchen which boasts handmade cabinets and all you need to make your favourite meals. Heading back towards the dining area you ll find the cottage style staircase that rises to the first floor. There is a lovely light and bright double bedroom set to the front of the cottage with its own en-suite bathroom which has glimpses towards Golden Cap and Charmouth. Heading up a second flight of cottage style stairs brings you to the second double bedroom which has been decorated with care and has views towards Golden Cap. A cosy bunk room ideal for children and the shower room are also on the second floor completing this comfortable and homely accommodation. A door in the kitchen leads to the courtyard garden. Enclosed by stone walls and equipped with a table and chairs plus a BBQ this is a great spot for sunny summer evenings or perhaps your morning coffee. There is an outside WC here and a handy storage area where you can leave beach gear bikes or pushchairs at the end of a fun filled day. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 doubles and 1 bunk room. 1 en suite bathroom with hand held shower over bath and WC; 1 shower room with shower and WC; 1 separate outside WC. Gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Wood burner (1st basket of logs included). TV available in the lounge. Superfast broadband. Enclosed courtyard garden with furniture, charcoal BBQ and external storage area perfect for beach equipment. Outdoor tap for sandy toes and wetsuits. 2 dogs welcome, more by arrangement. Long stay car park within 200m (charges in the region of 65 per week & 35 for 3 days). Pubs and shops within 100m, beach 300m.
