Cobble and sand along the Solway shore below the promenade and Silloth Green, looking across to the Scottish hills. There is no seasonal dog ban under the Cumberland order, but this is a bird coast: keep dogs under control near the feeding and nesting areas and on the lead around the grazing stock.
