A nineteenth-century freehouse at 25 Gleadless Road in Heeley, a minute from Heeley City Farm and just off the Sheaf valley path into town. Inside it is a plain drinkers' room of breweriana and shelves rather than upholstery, with eight real ales, continental bottles, whiskies and real cider, and a garden out the back that takes the crowd in summer. Step-free at front and rear, though the front entrance is narrow with a wide dog. Sheffield South Pub of the Year four times over. Dog friendly per CAMRA's survey dated 27 February 2026 rather than the pub's own words.
