There is plenty of countryside and local walks to explore from your doorstep but if you fancy a day at the seaside head for the beautiful Cardigan Bay coast. Aberporth beach split into two sections with half being dog-friendly all year round can be reached in 15 miles. Or head to the ever-popular New Quay for a day out and enjoy some fish and chips you may even spot a dolphins or two in the bay. Aberaeron is a 30-minute drive lined with colourful painted houses brows in the independent shops cafes and restaurants and stroll around the harbour and enjoy a famous honey ice cream.
