For those seeking a little bit of history the city of Lancaster is just 6 miles away where you can visit the captivating medieval castle Ashton Memorial and four museums. There are so many places to visit nearby including the Yorkshire Dales National Park (22.5 miles) and Forest of Bowland AONB (25 miles). Or why not spend a day exploring the Lake District and the stunning towns and landscapes it boasts just 25 miles away.
