Scarborough North Bay Beach

Scarborough
RIGHT NOW (JUL) · BANNED — REOPENS 1 OCT
No photo yet

Scarborough's quieter northern beach below Royal Albert Drive, with excellent ramp access and the SEA LIFE centre at its far end. The summer exclusion only covers the middle stretch between the former Corner Café slipway and the end of the chalet run, so dogs can still enjoy the sands either side all year.

THE SMALL PRINTDogs banned 1 May to 30 September on the central section from the northernmost beach slipway at the Sands (former Corner Café) to the northernmost slipway at the end of the run of chalets (the bulge of land once occupied by the chair lift); the rest of the bay stays dog-friendly. £100 fixed penalty for breach.
