The Roos Arms

The Roos Arms stands on Main Street in Roos, about two miles inland from the sand at Tunstall, and its own website describes it plainly as a dog friendly country pub. There are two guest ales on the hand pull alongside the lagers, food runs Thursday to Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes, and the pub keeps four en-suite rooms from around fifty pounds a night, though it does not publish a rule either way about dogs in those rooms so ring before you book one. Drinks-only hours are long, from two in the afternoon most weekdays and from noon at weekends, which makes it a sensible target at the end of the walk down Tunstall Lane to the coast. The Hull and East Yorkshire CAMRA branch also lists it on its dog-friendly pub guide, alongside the Black Horse further along Main Street.
