A Greene King pub at 972 Gleadless Road on the hill at Gleadless, a few minutes from the Gleadless Valley woods and the Meers Brook paths that run down towards Heeley. There is a car park, a beer garden and a family-friendly interior with sports screens, so a dog is easiest in the garden on a match afternoon. Greene King's own dog-friendly page for the pub says dogs are welcome with water bowls and treats, and that they can join you in the beer garden. Evidence is the pub group's page rather than the pub's own site.
