Just slightly further afield are Woolacombe Saunton and Croyde known for their beautiful sandy beaches and some of the best surf this country has to offer; and in the other direction Combe Martin offers a pretty harbour and sheltered sandy bay with a 17th Century inn. Walkers will also be spoilt for choice with nearby access onto the South West Coast path plus stunning Exmoor just a short drive away. Other attractions in the area include Lynton and Lynmouth Watermouth Castle Lee Abbey The Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo.
