A shop unit on Prestongate beside Hessle's shopping street, deliberately converted into a pub by its owners, with an industrial-looking interior of canteen benches and long shared tables. Six keg taps carry the emphasis on craft brewing, alongside one rotating cask ale, a wide range of cans and traditional Belgian bottled beers. Children are welcome until 8pm and dogs are recorded as welcome with no room or time restriction attached. Hessle is East Riding of Yorkshire Council territory rather than Hull's. The dog policy comes from CAMRA's WhatPub survey record, not from the bar's own words.
