The Plough Inn

A family-run free house of genuine wattle and daub on Northside Road in Hollym, two miles inland from Withernsea and the handiest real-ale stop on the road down to Spurn. Four cask beers are kept, Theakston Best and Abbot as the regulars with two rotating from the likes of Rudgate and Farmers, and the pub holds a five-star Cask Marque rating. There is a big garden, a real fire, a separate bar, its own car park, camping at the back and five bed and breakfast rooms, though nothing is published about whether dogs may sleep in them. Food runs noon to half six seven days with Sunday roasts. Dogs are welcome, on CAMRA branch evidence from a survey dated 30 January 2026 rather than the pub’s own words.
