Overlooking the large green in Amble this property is just a stone s throw from the local shops restaurants and cafes this town has to offer. Set out on foot with your four-legged friend for a stroll along the beach or take to nearby Warkworth which offers wonderful river walks along the Coquet. Coquet Island itself is well worth a visit as it is home to the ruins of a medieval monastery together with some 35 000 nesting birds in summer and a 600 -strong seal colony. Enter from the ground floor leave your coats boots and bags at the entrance before making your way up the stairs to this 1st floor duplex apartment that has been lovingly furnished and finished in a homely style. The kitchen/diner is a fantastic space for entertaining with wooden flooring shaker-style units and a large farmhouse table for enjoying group meals. A handy utility room next door contains extra appliances equipment and useful storage cupboards. After a long day relax and unwind in the cosy lounge which features comfortable seating a large feature window overlooking the green Smart TV/DVD iPod docking station and selection of books. Also on this floor is the family bathroom which has an overhead electric shower. Up the stairs are the two welcoming king-size bedrooms one master which enjoys views across the green from the velux window to Coquet Island and one further with plenty of storage. There is also an additional single bedroom on the lower floor of the apartment which is available at an extra cost. Outside there is a charming rear courtyard with garden furniture for making the most of the afternoon sunshine plus secure storage for bicycles. There is parking for one car in front of the property with additional spaces nearby. Need to know: 2 king size bedrooms.
