With the North Pennines Lake District and Yorkshire Dales all within 27 miles the cottage is ideal for those who love exploring the great outdoors. Take the scenic drive to Ullswater (12 miles) to climb the surrounding fells and witness some of the most spectacular views in the whole of the national park. Pull on your hiking boots and take on Cross Fell (6 miles) the highest mountain in the Pennines. Alternatively take the gentle Ladies Walk through the village and along the river followed by a delicious meal in the country hotel. The detached property is set across one level and has been decorated impeccably with great care and attention taken to create a unique style. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is light and bright and features flashes of hot pink which really bring the space to life. Cook up a storm in the sleek kitchen which is equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge and dishwasher. Perch at the breakfast bar with a glass of wine and browse through your guidebooks whilst you wait for the dinner to cook. After a meal at the glass dining table relax on the comfy sofa to watch a film on the smart TV warming your toes in front of the gorgeous electric fire. The vibrant colour scheme continues into the fabulous super-king-size bedroom (which can also be made up into a twin on request) which boasts stunning feature wallpaper opulent soft furnishings and a smart TV. Last but not least is the elegant shower room with WC where you can wash the day away in the spacious walk-in shower. Outside the cottage discover a delightful decked area with garden furniture the ideal spot to sip an aperitif and unwind listening to the birds singing in the trees and taking in your peaceful surroundings. Along with two other cottages the property is set within the walled garden of the neighbouring vicarage. You are welcome to take a stroll around the grounds and it s also a great place for four-legged visitors to stretch their legs. There is off-road parking available for one car directly outside the property. Need to know: 1 bedroom super king size (can be made up as a twin on request). 1 shower room with WC. Dedicated EV charging points are going to be installed very soon, but until then, please refrain from charging your cars from the property there are several EV charging points nearby, at Booths and Morrisons in Penrith.
