A lively creative scene in Hastings boasts plenty to do during your stay at One West Street. Located in the heart of the popular Old Town the restaurants antique shops and cafes of George Street are just around the corner .The award winning Hastings Contemporary Gallery and iconic fishing huts from where you can buy the latest catch are a five minute stroll. The East Hill funicular railway takes you up to the spectacular views from Hastings County Park and a visit to Smugglers Adventure gives a flavour of Hastings past. The front door of this romantic property opens into a stylish and well-equipped kitchen/dinner. An electric oven and hob dishwasher fridge with ice compartment and a washing machine provide everything you will need to enjoy your stay here while there is seating for 4 round the dining table. A shaker peg rail and bench offer ideal storage for coats and bags. Follow the original narrow stone stairs down to the former cellar now converted into cosy a snug with underfloor heating. The futon day bed can sleep an additional guest if required. Back up to the kitchen/diner a panelled turned wooden stairwell leads upstairs and into the lounge where you will find a comfortable sofa and woodburner perfect to snug in after a day on the beach. Open stairs take you up another floor to the bedroom and shower room. The double bedroom is cosy and inviting and features views out to sea while the shower room offers a walk-in shower hand basin and WC. Need to know: 1 Bedroom double. 1 Shower room. Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with ice compartment. Wood burner. Regret no smoking. Opposite dog friendly beach (1st October 31st April). Welcome pack. Pubs, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Near to the Blue Flag Pelham beach in Hastings. Smart TV, Blu Ray and DVD. Regret no babies or children due to the steep open stairs. Due to the age of this property, some stairs are steep and narrow and there is limited head space in some areas. Sleeps 2 1 futon in the snug which can accommodate an additional guest. Parking available in the main 3 car parks within 10 minutes walk. A weekly parking permit can be bought on line and collected from the nearby Tourist Information Centre (details via Hastings Borough Council website)..
