Probably the oldest pub in Wombwell, built in 1847 at 66 Park Street and once the tap for the long-gone Geeves brewery, fully refurbished in 2021 under new owners. It is a three-roomed pub rather than one open space, so there is a quieter room to take a dog into away from the sports television, and there is a garden at the back. Children are allowed until 7pm and dogs are permitted throughout. It sits a few streets from Wombwell Park and the paths down to the Dearne. This is CAMRA's Barnsley branch record rather than a policy the pub publishes itself.
