This property is located in the beautiful Somerset countryside within walking distance of village pubs and a shop. The surrounding countryside is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors life with the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park both being less than fifteen miles away from the property. The beaches and pretty harbour towns on both the Somerset and Dorset coasts are also within easy driving distance with Minehead Watchet Charmouth and Lyme Regis all being within twenty-five miles of the property. For those who like to explore local towns Taunton is just seven miles away and Exeter with its famous cathedral is within a fifty-minute drive. A tree-lined drive brings guests to the front of this imposing property giving guests a sense of just how special this house is before they even step inside. Once inside they find themselves in the grand entrance hall with its feature fireplace and oak panelled staircase. Continuing on they will come to the first of two lounge rooms this one being a spacious light-filled space with sumptuous sofa seating and working fire. The second lounge is equally spacious with a range of comfortable seating a feature fireplace a TV and games console. The third social space takes the form of an impressive lounge/kitchen/diner which has been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect space for enjoying one another s company over meals drinks or nibbles. The vaulted ceiling and huge bi-fold doors make this room feel even bigger than it is and lend it a fantastic sense of light and space. The lounge area next to the doors has two comfortable sofas a TV and views across the terrace to the garden beyond. The dining area which sits in the middle of the room has a table which seats twelve and there is also breakfast bar seating just behind the table overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen as you would expect has been finished to a high specification and offers an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer wine cooler and dishwasher whilst the washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in a separate utility room. The house also has a children s playroom stocked full of toys for all ages as well as games room with a snooker table and a gym with a range of exercise equipment. Upstairs there are six bedrooms which have all been finished to a high standard with thoughtful attention to detail. The first of these is a king-size room with an en-suite bathroom to rival any top hotel with a bath separate shower and WC. A king-size room also offers an en-suite this time with a shower and WC. There are then two more king-size rooms and two lovely family rooms. The first of these is a twin room which has a mezzanine floor with a double bed whilst the other is also a twin bedroom which also has a double bed up on the mezzanine. These rooms make wonderful spaces for families where the parents can be close to the children yet still have their own separate space and both of these rooms have en-suite shower rooms with a shower and WC. The main bathroom also on the first floor offers a shower-over-bath and WC whilst there is a convenient separate WC on the ground floor. The outside space here is just as impressive as the indoor accommodation and offers plenty of space to relax and play in the huge seven acres of gardens. Outside make use of the heated swimming pool complete with hard cover and wonderful pool house (open April - September) there is an outdoor dining area and poolside pizza oven. For children there is a climbing frame as well as a table tennis table which is situated in a decked courtyard area which also has a table and chairs. An impressive patio entertaining area is located directly outside the kitchen and offers garden furniture alongside a gas BBQ and a warming firepit.
