This quintessential Yorkshire cottage enjoys a peaceful location in the West Yorkshire countryside providing an idyllic base for a romantic getaway. Tucked away down a quiet lane next to the owners working farm there is an abundance of picturesque walks and cycle trails straight from the doorstep. Enjoy a 10-minute stroll through the woodland down to the local garden centre with a delightful café or head to the local pub. For keen golfers two great courses at Bingley and Shipley can both be reached in 2 miles. Other attractions in the area include Goit Stock Waterfall (4 miles) the historic National Trust s East Riddlesden Hall (7 miles) the interesting model village of Saltaire (4 miles) and stunning Bronte Country home to the village of Haworth (6 miles). Leave your coats and muddy boots in the entrance porch as your step into this romantic retreat. Walk through the well-equipped kitchen and feel instantly at home in the cosy lounge/diner. Adorned with ornate curtains and artwork settle down in one of the bucket chairs in front of the roaring wood burner after a long day exploring the countryside. When it is time to retire for the evening head upstairs and find yourself in the opulent king-size bedroom boasting a stunning four-poster bed. The room also benefits from a large en-suite bathroom so you can indulge in a soak after the day s activities. At the front of the cottage is a pretty courtyard garden with a bistro table and chairs. Relax at the end of the day and enjoy dining alfresco whilst soaking up the summer sun and fresh countryside air.
