Although peacefully located in the countryside the welcoming town of South Molton is only 4 miles away from the barn where you can enjoy a bite to eat or pick up some supplies from the independent shops or twice-weekly market. Exmoor National Park is 10 miles away where you ll find lots of opportunities for outdoor adventure or you can head to the coast (25 miles) to have a paddle on the beaches at Instow Westward Ho! and Croyde. You ll also find the traffic-free Tarka Trail within half a mile which is perfect for a scenic walk or bike ride. Barnstaple is 15 miles from the barn which hosts a popular Pannier Market and Bideford is 23 miles where you can hop aboard a boat trip to Lundy Island. Also within 23 miles are the exciting attractions of RHS Rosemoor Tapeley Park and Arlington Court. Follow the stone ramp to the front door of the barn and enter the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here comfortable sofas surround the TV/DVD so you can put your feet up after a day of exploring and relax with a movie or two. The kitchen area is equipped with all the essentials including an electric oven and hob microwave and fridge/freezer. Also on the ground floor is the first of the bedrooms a cosy twin room with an en-suite WC. Head upstairs and discover the remaining two bedrooms a king-size and a twin bedroom both of which have been beautifully styled to offer a restful night s sleep. Completing the offering on this floor is a contemporary bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Outside and to the rear of the barn is a small enclosed patio featuring a BBQ and some garden furniture so you can sine alfresco on a warm evening. The gardens for each cottage on the complex are separated by picket fences with gates which can be opened should you wish to socialise with your neighbours! For a special occasion the property also boasts a spa-grade hot tub with magnificent views and luxury robes which can be booked for 2 hours at an additional cost of 45 arranged directly with the owner. There is also private off-road parking for one car. Shared on-site facilities include a children s play area and play barn a summerhouse with seating and coffee-making facilities alpaca walking experience (at an additional cost) a dog exercise paddock an alpaca field with hammocks and 18 acres of grounds with cut walkways leading to outdoor seating areas. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size and 2 twins. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and 1 en suite WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. TV/DVD in the lounge area. Travel cot and highchair available. Enclosed rear garden with charcoal BBQ and fire pit with a Dutch oven (logs and charcoal available to purchase on site, with matches and firelighters free of charge). Bike storage available. Shared on site laundry room and rotary clotheslines. Please note, that there is a free ranging flock of chickens on site keep dogs on a lead. Private off road parking for 1 car as part of their green initiative, the owners request guests to arrive in 1 car due to limited parking. If bringing more than 1 car, 15 will be payable upon arrival and any profit donated to the Devon Wildlife Trust.
