A Craft Union city-centre local at 26 Dixon Lane, on the old market side of town behind the Haymarket and a minute from the Fitzalan Square tram stop. It is a single room built for sport and live entertainment, with HD screens, Sky and TNT and an accessible toilet, and no dining side to be turned out of. The Grey to Green planted route along Castlegate and the Five Weirs Walk along the Don are both within five minutes, which makes it a workable stop on a river walk into town. Craft Union lists the pub on its own dog-friendly pubs page; the pub's individual page carries no policy of its own.
