A Greene King pub at 25 Orchard Square, tucked just outside the shopping centre in the middle of the city and a two-minute walk from the Cathedral tram stop. Its own group page says dogs are welcome but asks that they are kept on a lead in both the inside and the outside seating areas, so this is a hold-the-lead visit rather than a settle-under-the-table one. There is a beer garden and full food service. The Peace Gardens and the Winter Garden lawns are the nearest open space.
