Mundesley Beach

Mundesley
RIGHT NOW (JUL) · BANNED — REOPENS 1 OCT
No photo yet

A wide, clean, Blue Flag beach with beach huts, a promenade and sand that runs for a mile at low tide. It is one of the eight North Norfolk beaches with a summer dog order, so between May and September you need to read the signs at the ramps. From October it is a first-rate winter walk with the cliff path above it.

THE SMALL PRINTNorth Norfolk District Council's dog Public Spaces Protection Order for Mundesley beach and promenade excludes dogs from the marked (red) section of beach between 1 May and 30 September and requires dogs to be kept on a lead on the marked (blue) promenade section over the same dates. Breach can bring a fine of up to £1,000. Assistance dogs are exempt.
