The largest of the three Marmadukes cafes, at 42 Cambridge Street between the Moor and Devonshire Green, in one of the old buildings kept when the Heart of the City blocks went up around it. The company's own FAQ says you are welcome to bring your pooches inside all of their cafes, asking only that dogs are kept under control and that you are considerate of other customers. It is walk-ins only over two floors, and the ground floor has the wider gaps between tables, which is the half to aim for with a bigger dog. Devonshire Green is the nearest grass, three minutes up Carver Street.
