The village is a rural base yet with takeaway restaurants and a convenience store all within 0.5 miles. You can cycle or walk 3.5 miles down the riverbank which is just 0.5 miles away into Lincoln. Explore the conservation area around the cathedral and historic Bailgate which hosts an array of independent retailers and eateries. Lincoln Cathedral is undoubtedly the most iconic building in the city followed by Lincoln Castle where you can enjoy many events throughout the year including medieval re-enactments live concert and the Steam Punk Festival. Step into the cottage straight into the dining room a fantastic space for a celebration meal with a vaulted ceiling exposed beams and pretty views over the surrounding open fields. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a meal during your stay with a seating area nearby so you can sit relax and catch up with good company. The lounge offers ample comfy seating and TV with a nearby snug area and a quiet nook to curl up with a good book. There is a handy utility room with lots of space to store walking boots and coats and a downstairs shower room. Head upstairs where you will find four bedrooms and one family bathroom. Relax in the enclosed cottage garden with outdoor dining furniture which is the ideal spot to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while you plan your day ahead. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 double, 1 twin and also a nursery room with a cot bed. 2 Bathrooms Family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Shower room and WC. Electric range cooker and induction hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Utility with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. 1 dog welcome (small or medium breed). Travel cot and high chair. Enclosed garden with seating and sun loungers. Off road parking for 3 cars. Pub within 1 mile and shop within 0.5 miles. Decorated for Christmas on request. Bike storage available on request. The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at the property this includes electric cars, ebikes and escooters.
