A street-corner pub at 2 West Street with a superb tiled Warwick and Richardson's frontage, now run under Doncaster Culture Leisure and Tourism and known across the town for live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Six real ales, a garden, level access to the bar and lounge with the WC in the bar area, and a small rear car park, so it works as a stop on the way in or out of town with a dog. Weekend gig nights are loud and packed, so a midweek afternoon is the kinder visit; Sandall Park and the Don riverside path are the nearest real walks. CAMRA's WhatPub survey of January 2026 records the pub as dog friendly with no room named, which is the published evidence rather than the pub's own words.
