Sutton upon Derwent is a charming village near York. Stroll along its streets lined with quaint cottages take in the views as you wander beside the River Derwent and enjoy some real ales at the local pub (0.5 miles). After exploring the village venture into the surrounding area where you ll discover an array of attractions. You can visit York where you ll find the York Minster (9.5 miles) Jorvik Viking Centre (9 miles) and plenty of bars and restaurants. Take a trip to the North York Moors National Park (31 miles) or the Howardian Hills (21 miles) to enjoy a nice walk and take pleasure in the views. Alternatively enjoy some retail therapy at the McArthur Glen designer outlet (9.5 miles). As you step through the inviting door of the lodge to your right unfolds an open-plan lounge and kitchen area. It features a TV with Freesat coupled with a Firestick for your entertainment a corner sofa which converts into a sofa bed and a spacious three-seater sofa for you to unwind. There s also a dining table with comfortable chairs for your convenience. The well-equipped kitchen stands adjacent with everything you need to cook your meals. Moving through you ll discover the lodge s peaceful bedrooms. The first is a king-size bedroom with an adjoining en-suite shower room. There s also a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. The family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath offers both convenience and comfort. Outside there is plenty of space to entertain and enjoy the weather. Through the French doors you ll find a spacious wrap-around decking area along with an outdoor corner sofa and a large spa hot tub (towels ropes and slippers provided). Beyond this is a large grassy area to enjoy outside games or sports. Need to know: Sleeps 5 2 (includes sofa bed in lounge). 3 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 twin and 1 single. 2 bathrooms 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and 1 en suite shower room with walk in shower and WC. Enclosed decking area with outdoor corner sofa, lawned area and charcoal BBQ. Large spa hot tub slippers, towels and robes provided. Private parking for multiple cars. Pub and shop within 1 mile.
