Just under four miles round the Lanhydrock estate and down to the Fowey at Respryn, two hours with 110 metres of climbing on estate drives, parkland and riverside path. Park in the large National Trust car park, free to members and charged otherwise, and note that you can do this walk without paying to enter the house or gardens. Described as easy for dogs: no stiles at all, no kissing gates, and most of it can be walked off lead with the exception of the road crossings and the main entrance at the end; the parkland is grazed occasionally and one narrow footbridge can be bypassed on the cycle trail.

THE SMALL PRINTDogs need leads at the road crossings and past the main entrance at the end of the walk. Lanhydrock parkland is occasionally grazed. Dogs are not admitted to the house or the formal gardens.
