Set in the heart of Bakewell the home of the famous Bakewell pudding this is one of the best locations in the Peak District for an authentic countryside experience with the convenience of everything you need on your doorstep. Wonderful old buildings character shops meandering rivers and a host of dog friendly pubs and restaurants. Just under 5 miles away is Chatsworth offering walks around the extensive grounds an adventure playground and working farmyard. There is also an array of walks small and large to enjoy as you explore the area. If you want an adventure with a difference then one of the many caverns with its natural wonders and local Blue John stone can be found at Castleton which is 13 miles away. Enter this charming and well-equipped cottage to find a cosy lounge with comfortable sofas flame effect gas fire and Smart TV a perfect spot to relax of an evening. The large kitchen/diner is an impressive space to gather and enjoy a tasty evening meal together. Each room is light and airy with lovely contemporary touches throughout. When it is time for bed there are three bedrooms: one king-size and two doubles. They all have an individual style and a relaxing ambience with Smart TVs and plenty of storage. Completing this property is the elegant family bathroom. Outside is an enclosed raised seating area to the front of the property and to the rear a separate enclosed garden just over the driveway and through a gate with 6 man hot tub housed in a gazebo with a seating area and BBQ. This serene space is the perfect place to unwind. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size, 2 double. 1 bathroom with power shower over bath and WC. Electric oven and hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, wine cooler, Nespresso coffee machine. High chair and travel cot available on request. Smart TV in lounge and all bedrooms. Gas fire in lounge with flame effect. Enclosed garden to the rear over the driveway and through a gate with 6 man Hot tub and seating housed in gazebo and BBQ. Due to being in a residential area, outside noise is not permitted after 10pm. Off road parking for 1 car. Electric Vehicle charging point available, shared between both cottages on a first come first served basis.. Pubs and shops within 0.2 miles. Massage and aromatherapy treatments can be booked at the property the owner will provide further details.
