Windermere and Ambleside are just a short drive from the property and are great places to enjoy browsing the shops and perhaps stocking up on picnic supplies before hiring a boat on the water. Or hop on board one of the leisure cruises which run up and down Windermere at a relaxing pace. Coniston only a short drive away is known for its rich history and the interesting Ruskin Museum which takes visitors on a journey through the village s past. A little closer to your retreat you can visit family attractions at the famous home of Beatrix Potter go fishing on Esthwaite Water or enjoy the forest paths and bike trails at Grizedale making the location enjoyable for couples and families alike. Entering into the lounge area which has a comfy sofa and chairs surrounding the wood burner there s a satellite TV and a Free WiFi music system; perfect for relaxing at any time of the year. Walk through into the conservatory with its panoramic views across the lake and comfy chairs to enjoy all times of the day. The contemporary open-plan kitchen and dining area has an electric and gas range cooker coffee pod machine microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer and an oak dining table and chairs. A washer/dryer can be found in a separate utility room perfect for storing outdoor gear after cycling or walking on the fells. The master bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) and has an en-suite shower and WC and the second bedroom is a double with both bedrooms enjoying splendid countryside views. The main bathroom with a shower over the bath is located directly opposite the double room. Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy some al fresco dining. There is a lawned garden area with seating for you to relax; a great spot to catch some sun or the stunning sunsets which Fell Foot enjoys. Located in the magnificent Kielder Water and Forest Park this cheerful and hospitable property has space for up to seven friends or family. You will discover plenty of thoughtful touches from the owner ensuring that your stay is a truly memorable and comfortable experience. The amazing Kielder Water and Forest are on your doorstep to explore go for walks in the peaceful forest enjoy bike rides and try your hand at a variety of water sports and other activities. This is an official International Dark Sky Park and so a night-time visit to the Kielder Observatory to gaze at the Milky Way is a must! You can visit Bellingham the gateway town to Kielder where you can sample the delights of the pubs shops and café pop into pretty Falstone village or head out to historic Otterburn. Back home you can walk to the village pub for a drink and a meal or enjoy a coffee in Kielder Castle s cafe on the edge of the village. Access is at front of house into the hallway with a useful shoe cupboard follow the hallway to the kitchen/diner where you have everything you need and more to prepare a delicious meal when you get back from a day of exploration including an induction hob an eye-level double electric oven with a separate grill fridge freezer and a slow cooker. There is also a microwave coffee machine and a cafetiere. You will find some handy USB charging points for your devices too. The large dining table has seating for seven in front of a feature wood burner fireplace a lovely setting for good food and conversation. Leading from the kitchen is the utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a collection of picnic ware to use outside and the glazed door leads you into rear garden and patio areas. Next to the utility room there is a shower room with a shower cubicle and WC. Moving back down the hallway you come to the lounge with dual aspect windows and views of the rear garden and stunning forest beyond. There are two large comfortable sofas and two easy chairs to settle back into while you catch up with your favourite shows on the Smart TV. Upstairs you will find the three bedrooms; each with a hair dryer for your use during your stay. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a wardrobe and chest of drawers a Smart TV and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle jacuzzi bath and WC. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed with plenty of storage for your things and a Smart TV. The third bedroom can sleep three in a double bed with single bunk bed over (children only) plus there is a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. The modern family bathroom features a P shaped bath with shower over and WC. Outside the generous garden offers a variety of areas to sit back and relax.
