Situated in the quaint and pretty village of Threlkeld this lovely home is tucked underneath the imposing Blencathra. Guests can commence the walk up the fell from the doorstep and there are many other walking routes around the valley from here. There s a coast-to-coast cycleway that passes directly outside the cottage too so don t forget to bring your bikes. You ll be right next to a dog-friendly pub that serves fantastic home-cooked food. Keswick town and the beautiful Derwentwater are 4 miles away where you can explore shops restaurants tourist attractions or enjoy boating or fishing on the lake. Enter this charming three-storey property and find yourself in a large open-plan lounge/diner. There s plenty of comfortable seating for all guests here and a TV with a DVD player for cosying down and watching a film together after a busy day. Take a seat at the dining table and enjoy your morning coffees while planning the day s activities. The kitchen leads off from here and has all the amenities you need for a self-catering stay such as an oven fridge freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. A shower room with WC completes the ground floor. Head downstairs where two of the bedrooms one double and one twin are found. There is also a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC on this level. On the top level is a large double bedroom ideal for those taking some time out away from the group. Outside there are two seating areas one to the rear and one to the front. The front has a large private patio and table and chairs a great spot for soaking up the views which surround you. At the back of the property is a BBQ and picnic area shared with the two adjoining cottages which can be booked alongside this one. Ample parking is available to the side of the property. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 doubles, 1 twin. 2 bathrooms 1 bathroom with shower over the bath, 1 shower room. Electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer. TV, Freeview, DVD player. Wi Fi not included. Private patio area to the front of the cottage and shared, rear garden with BBQ and picnic area. Ample parking available. Pub opposite property, shops and restaurants 5 miles. Towels not included. This cottage can be booked along with the adjoining cottages to accommodate groups of up to 16 people. A 10% discount is available when all three cottages are booked together. Short breaks available from a Friday or a Monday during November March.
