Shingle at the top, wide flat sand at low tide, and the same westward view over the Wash as Hunstanton without the crowds. Heacham carries no dog restriction under the West Norfolk order, so it is a genuine July alternative when the town beach two miles north is closed. Parking is behind the sea wall at the end of South Beach Road.
