Nestled on a beautiful vineyard this oak barn apartment is perfectly situated at the entrance to the scenic South Downs National Park featuring expansive heathlands woodlands farmland and historic landmarks to explore. The area offers numerous dog-friendly pubs for a warm welcome meaning a truly idyllic stay for walkers and cyclists with a mix of relaxed and more challenging country trails right from the doorstep. Just 2.5 miles away the bustling market town of Alton offers a charming mix of historical architecture along with a range of shops cafes and restaurants. A little further in Selborne (4.5 miles) visitors can hike the renowned zig-zag trail admire the landscapes explore the hangers or visit Gilbert White s House and The Oates Collection. One of four beautifully decorated apartments within this exquisite oak barn this gorgeous country escape effortlessly blends traditional features and contemporary decor. Step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and the serene design and pops of colour will make you feel right at home. Sit back in the lounge area in front of the roaring wood burner to relax after a day out in the South Downs. Dinner can be whipped up efficiently in the well-appointed kitchen and enjoyed in the laid-back dining space. When sleep calls head up the charming open-tread spiral staircase and turn in for the night into the king-size bedroom perhaps with a soak in the roll-top bath or en-suite rainfall shower for added relaxation. In the morning step out of the bedroom directly onto the balcony to absorb the stunning vineyard and countryside views before breakfast. A shared front garden with pretty flowers and walkways offers an opportunity to get out in the fresh air and explore further into the estate where 80 acres of woodland vines farmland and lakes await. There s wildlife aplenty as well as resident peacocks rare-breed chickens and a flock of sheep. There s ample on-site parking. Need to know: 1 king size bedroom. 1 en suite shower room with waterfall shower and WC, roll top bath within bedroom area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and wine cooler. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Smart TV. Private balcony. Full access to vineyard grounds, woodlands, farmlands and lakes. Extensive private off road parking. Pub and shop 4 miles.
