Wanting to explore on foot the South West Coast Path offers spectacular views and walks in either direction. The property is conveniently located within easy reach of the A39 and a great location for touring both Devon and Cornwall. Possible days out include visits to The Eden Project the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly Boscastle Rock and Padstow. This charming cottage oozes period charm throughout but with your creature comforts assured promising the perfect Cornish retreat. As you enter the cottage into the entrance hall the ideal place to kick off your boots and hang your coats following your countryside walk. To your left you have the spectacular open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers a wealth of character with exposed beams and floor to ceiling windows and French doors that lead out onto the patio area. The beautifully designed lounge area offers a Smart TV allowing you to catch up on your favourite shows or pull back the curtains and enjoy a night under the stars it is truly the perfect setting for an evening in with family or friends. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob dishwasher fridge freezer and microwave. To the rear of the cottage you will find the master super-king-size bedroom and a cosy twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be into as a king-size on request). Venturing outside to the first part of the rear garden an enclosed courtyard area with table and chairs and a BBQ great for dining outdoors. Following on from here you will find the large enclosed grassed area with seating. This beautiful annexe is a well-converted wing of the main house and is set within a tiny hamlet within the parish of Morwenstow tucked just inside the Cornish border. Here visitors can find a historic 13th Century inn as well as the intriguing Hawkers Hut cared for by the National Trust which is built into the cliffs looking out to sea. The village of Kilkhampton is just three miles away offering a few shops a couple of cosy and traditional inns as well as a couple of takeaways. The popular coastal town of Bude is just another few miles away offering several shops restaurants cafes and leisure facilities which include a swimming pool and much-loved sandy beaches. Check out the Rebel Cinema possibly the most rural example in the UK showing all the best in new blockbusters. The South West Coast Path is also just ten minutes from the property offering mile after mile of spectacular coastal scenery and memorable walks. In the surrounding area there is much to do and see including National Trust properties and gardens as well as a good selection of golf courses.
