Sand below a fast-eroding cliff, with the red-and-white striped lighthouse behind and the oldest human footprints in northern Europe found in the foreshore here. There is no dog control order at Happisburgh, so dogs are free all twelve months. Access is by the ramp at the end of Beach Road, which changes with the cliff.
