With unencumbered views across the surrounding woodlands this property is perfect for guests wanting to embrace the Forest of Dean. The traditional mining town of Cinderford lies within the heart of the Forest of Dean and is well-served for you to enjoy local produce from the gourmet butchers bakery and health food shop selling local Forest of Dean honey. There is plenty to explore from your front door via the family cycle route or the sculpture trail. Visit Beechenhurst (3 miles) where you can swing from the trees at Go Ape or enjoy a cake and coffee from the cafe. For wildlife there are several nature reserves where you are free to roam. For mountain bikers you can take on one of the many downhill trails along with rock climbing and kayaking for the more adventurous. For a family day out you can visit Clearwell Caves Puzzle Wood Perry Grove Railway Hopewell Colliery or Dean Heritage Centre all within 7 miles. The property is situated along a peaceful lane overlooking the forest with gated access to an enclosed garden where you can reach the property via the front door. Step inside to the entrance hall where you can leave your muddy boots and coats. The bedrooms are situated on the ground floor with a choice of two beautifully finished bedrooms a king-size room with Smart TV and en-suite shower room and a zip-and-link room which can be configured as a twin or king-size on request. There is also a shower room with a double shower and WC on the ground floor. The staircase leads to the open-plan first floor with stunning views offering the perfect place to sit back and relax with friends. A seating area awaits with comfortable sofas a Smart TV and a wood burner-effect electric fire. For dining a generously sized table with built-in benches is great for gathering around and enjoying supper or a board game together. The stylish kitchen offers everything you may need for preparing meals and packed lunches during your stay. Outside to the front of the cottage there is an enclosed garden with a private hot tub a table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 twin zip and link (can be configured as a king size on request). 2 bathrooms 1 shower room with double shower and WC, 1 en suite with shower room with WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine(with ground coffee supplied) and washing machine. Stairgate fitted, plus highchair and travel cot available on request. Smart TV in lounge and bedroom. Enclosed garden with table and chairs, and charcoal BBQ. Private hot tub. Private parking for 2 cars. Secure bike storage. Pub 300 metres, shops 0.5 miles. Please note: the owners love to make a fuss of their canine guests and have left a box full of things to help them have a great stay. Inside the box, you'll find microfibre towels, dog bowls, fleece blankets, dog bags I'm on holiday tags and a dog tuggy, so your furry friend feels right at home. We kindly ask that you do not let your dogs on the beds and that you do not leave them alone in the property..
