A large gastropub with rooms at 1-3 Tapton Park Road in Fulwood, on the Fulwood Road corridor above Endcliffe Park and the Porter Valley path up to Forge Dam. Its own dog-friendly page says dogs are welcome in the bar and the beer garden, picturing a dog under your bar table next to your feet or out on the patio, which leaves the restaurant side out. It opens from seven in the morning for coffee, so it works either end of a Porter Valley walk, and it has ten bedrooms, though the site states no policy on dogs in the rooms.
