Not suitable for those with limited mobility as the stone stairs up to the bedroom floors are steep, winding and have very narrow treads . Access from the car parking area is quite steep and during adverse weather can be slippery underfoot. Designated space for 1 car, further spaces available 275 metres away. The far side of the river bank belongs to the neighbour so is out of bounds to guests. Pubs and a shop 1 mile away. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in the garden due to there being no boundary fence to stop dogs going on to the neighbours land accessed via the stream the cottage side of the garden is enclosed by a perimeter fence. ANNUAL BEE SWARM each year from around end of May to end of July a swarm of bees will move into the chimney of this property. These bees are protected and are usually mild mannered going about their business if left undisturbed. It is wise to close the bedroom window and bedroom door during the day to avoid the odd stray bee entering the property. As they are high up in the chimney they generally do not cause any issues when enjoying the outdoor spaces and have not been problematic in past years but alerting guests who may have a potential for bee sting allergies. .
