The cafe at Heeley City Farm on Richards Road, a free-entry working city farm on the slope between Heeley and Meersbrook. The farm's own pages say they love welcoming the whole family including furry friends, and run a Pup Menu of dog-safe snacks with handmade Sheffield treats plus a bowl of water on the house. Dogs must stay on a lead and are asked not to go into the small animal house, since the rabbits and guinea pigs inside are easily frightened; the pigs, goats and sheep in the outdoor pens are fine to walk past. The cafe itself is level and pushchair accessible with plenty of floor space, and Meersbrook Park and the Sheaf Valley path are both a few minutes away.
