The gap beach a mile west of Cromer pier, with a slipway, a beach cafe and sand that joins up with Cromer's at low tide. This one only came under an order in December 2025, so the summer exclusion here is newer than the rest of the coast and worth re-reading. The eastern half of the year is unrestricted.
THE SMALL PRINTPublic Spaces Protection Order NNDC054, in force from 1 December 2025 for three years: a person in control of a dog "shall not at any time during the period 1st May to 30th September take a dog onto, or permit the dog to enter or remain on, any land defined in red hatch" on East Runton beach. Fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale (£1,000), or a fixed penalty notice. Assistance dogs are exempt.
