Conveniently located in the heart of the South Downs National Park in the pretty Sussex village of High Salvington with its local windmill and within close proximity to Arundel with its Castle shops and pubs and only 4 miles from the seaside town of Worthing with its attractive promenade making this the perfect place for a relaxing break. Those looking to soak up the local culture can enjoy a trip to nearby Chichester with its beautiful Cathedral explore the Roman ruins at Fishbourne Palace visit Petworth House home of one of the National Trust s finest art collections or the Goodwood Estate famed for horse racing the annual Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival but also home to a quintessential English stately home. Brighton is only a short drive away with its Royal Pavilion Brighton i360 and is a shopper s paradise offering boutique shopping combined with fantastic places to eat. Enter this pretty cottage located in the owner s grounds where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes before heading into the bright and airy lounge/kitchen/diner. The bedroom offers a twin divan beds and the property is completed with a shower room with shower and WC. There is an enclosed rear porch which is ideal for those muddy boots. Heading outside to the patio area the garden offers spectacular countryside and sea views and the patio table and chairs are perfect for sitting out on a warm evening. There is private parking for one car and secure bike storage. Need to know: 1 bedroom twin divan beds. 1 shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Smart TV in lounge and DAB Radio in kitchen. Patio with table and chairs. Private off road parking for 1 car. Secure bike storage available. Beach 4 miles , pub, coffee shop and shop within 0.1 mile. Due to the size of the property small or medium sized dogs only (up to a Springer Spaniel size). Additional facilities for dog walkers include outside hot & cold taps and a separate washing machine for washing dog towels /muddy coats etc.
Downs Gate is a real stay in Arundel, and it is here so you know it exists. But we have not been able to find a dog policy for it that we would stand behind, so we are not going to guess at one. No verdict, no stamp, no date.
