The restored Grade II listed Coach House in the middle of Hillsborough Park, run as a cafe by Depot Bakery, whose own site prints "Dog Friendly" under the Coach House hours. It is the only proper cafe inside the park, so it catches everybody coming off the walled garden, the boating lake path and the Middlewood Road gate. The building is stone with hard floors and there are tables out on the gravel in front, which is the easier option when the counter queue backs up. Open seven days nine until four, kitchen until three, and it takes reservations.
