An 1797 Rawsons pub at 35 Scotland Street on the West Bar edge of Kelham Island, on CAMRA's local inventory for its leaded porch windows and ceramic crown floor. Five cask lines, eleven keg, pork pies and scotch eggs rather than a kitchen, a small garden and seven en-suite rooms upstairs. There is a large step at the entrance but an accessible toilet inside. CAMRA's branch surveyors record the pub as dog friendly; whether dogs are taken in the bedrooms is not stated.
