A gaslit, flag-floored Wharfedale classic with a thatched cruck barn alongside and open fires burning most of the year. Dogs are welcome inside and out, and the staff have a habit of greeting the dog at the door with a bowl of water before anyone asks. Mention the dog when booking if you want to eat indoors.
