Drawn by us from the recorded track, over road and path data from OpenStreetMap. It shows you where the walk goes and what it goes through — it is not a substitute for a proper map. Carry OS Explorer on the hill.

A five-mile loop from Cloughton Station along the Cleveland Way clifftops to Hayburn Wyke, a wooded valley hiding a rocky cove where a waterfall tumbles over giant boulders onto the beach. The return leg ambles back along the level track-bed of the old Scarborough to Whitby railway.

THE SMALL PRINTShort lead advised on the unfenced clifftop sections; leash up when cyclists or horse-riders pass on the old railway line.
