A mile away a pub beckons serving local ales. Venture 3 miles to the bustling village of Pooley Bridge here you find riverside coffee shops pubs a restaurant independent stores a bookshop and an off license P.O and Tourist Information. From here you can take in the magnificent scenery from the water when onboard one of Ullswater steamers to Howtown where there is a tea room or further to the lively village of Glenridding which has a sailing centre. The cottages sit privately from each other and all have an enclosed outdoor seating area with furniture and fire bowl. There is ample parking and storage for kayaks and bikes. Less than a 20 minute drive from the M6 makes High House Farm accessible for short breaks or full week holidays.
