An old farmstead turned green-minded hotel in Wark, with a walled garden feeding the kitchen and a dark sky observatory in the grounds. Dogs share ground-floor rooms or the luxury lodges, at a small nightly charge, and guests are asked to bring their own dog bedding. The North Tyne and the Wark forest tracks are on the doorstep.
