This cottage is situated on the owner s farm in a tranquil rural location between the Quantock Hills and Blackdown Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty both of which provide miles of enjoyable scenic walks. For many a visit to the West Country would be incomplete without a day or two spent at the beach and this property is ideally located to allow guests to enjoy beaches on both the Somerset coast to the north and the Dorset coast to the south. Also within easy reach of the property are the towns of Taunton Glastonbury and Street. The front door of this character cottage opens directly into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner a charming space with a homely cottagey feel. The lounge area is a relaxing space with a large feature fireplace which now houses the warming wood burner which guests can enjoy from the inviting leather sofas. There is a TV/DVD here too perfect for enjoying a film after a day of sightseeing. A dining table lies between the lounge and kitchen areas next to which there are French windows opening onto the patio garden. At the far end of the room the kitchen area offers an oven hob microwave and fridge with ice compartment whilst there is a separate shared laundry room with washing machines and a tumble dryer. The bathroom upstairs offers the best of both worlds with a roll-top bath separate shower and WC. Steep cottage-style stairs lead to the spacious king-size bedroom with apex ceiling and large wardrobe. Outside there is a private patio garden directly outside the property with seating and BBQ which leads to an undercover area which allows guests to enjoy alfresco drinks no matter the weather. Need to know: 1 king size bedroom. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, and WC. TV/DVD. Wi Fi included. Wood burner. Kitchen: oven, hob, microwave, and fridge with ice compartment. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Electric, and central heating included. 2 medium sized dogs welcome by arrangement (larger dogs may be accommodated on request). Off road parking for 2 cars. Pub and shop 2 miles, beach 15 miles.
