Located just outside the popular Lake District national park this is the perfect base to explore this wonderful region. You also have the wonderful Eden Valley and Northumberland within a short drive with plenty to explore. Only a short drive away is the historic market town of Penrith which still has a traditional farmers market along with an array of local shops and eateries on offer. For adventure types why not head down to Ullswater Lake and head out onto the water either on the famous Steamboat or hire a boat kayak or paddle board yourself. This stunning lodge is the perfect place to getaway and enjoy luxury comforts and is the largest on site. As soon as you enter the open-plan living space you will see the detail and expense the owners have gone to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The lounge boasts a corner sofa with armchair surrounding the flame effect electric fire and wall mounted Smart TV along with built in speaker system via Bluetooth. The kitchen is stylish with all you need to cook up a feast for any meal. There is a gas hob electric oven dishwasher fridge/freezer and microwave. Head on down the hall where you will find the comfortable bedrooms with the master bedroom housing king-size bed with TV and plenty of storage space plus a en-suite shower room with shower. Also off the hall is the twin room and main shower room with shower and WC. The decking area has been tastefully created to reflect comfort with seating area and your own private hot tub with cabana style covering so you can enjoy those lovely evenings with a drink under the stars. Private parking for one car. Need to know: 2 bedrooms: 1 king size and 1 twin room. 1 en suite shower room with shower and WC and 1 shower room with WC. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Smart TV and built in speaker system. Private parking for 1 car. Decking with seating. BBQ Stand (please provide own BBQ). Private hot tub with cabana covering. Welcome pack and toiletries provided. Towels not included (can be hired from owner on arrival at a charge of 15 for the lodge). Paddock space available for horses at an additional charge (please ask on booking). This property can only be booked as a standalone property and not in conjunction with a larger group booking involving other properties on site.. Check in for the lodge is from 3pm and closes at 8pm . 1 small to medium dog accepted, please note that large dogs will not be allowed on this site . Please be advised all dogs must be kept on a lead within the grounds . New for November 2024 on site bar and restaurant (Open for food Wednesday Sunday see opening hours locally booking advisable).
